Keyword In Titles

Using the Keyword in the Title is one of the most powerful tips I can give you.  The title of any post or page seems to have a higher relation to what the page will contain or consist of when a visitor will visit when they click on the link.

Keyword In Meta Tags

Though recent studies are suggesting that the keyword meta tags really do not hold much weight anymore it is still advised to include the terms or phrases in the Head section under the Meta Tags.

Keywords in Meta Description

Every page or post normally will have whats called Meta Description in the Head Section which will describe something about the page similar to the Title for the page.  The Meta Description is a short intro of what to expect when you visit the page or post.

First Paragraph Of Every Page

Try to use the keyword or keyword phrase in the first paragraph as close to the first part of the paragraph which does seem to have a greater impact,  But do not stuff this paragraph with the phrase or keywords thinking to spam the search engines or robots.

Why should you use this tip well its simple because there is no guarantee that the robots will search or index everything on the page so by adding this near the first part of the paragraph you are for the most part assured that the most important part of the page or keywords and what the page is about will be indexed quickly.

How Many Times Should I Use a Keyword

There are no set standards on how many times someone should use a keywords on web pages and websites.  A good rule of thumb is try not to over use the word or phrase that you are trying to gain higher rankings for your website.

I try to not think about how many times I use a keyword or keyword phrase when I am writing a article, a new website page or anything to do with search engine optimization.

Now let me also say though I am no English Major nor am I going to pretend that my writing or topics make total sense but I will try to make everything as easy to understand for those looking to improve search engine optimization rankings for everyday websites across the web.

Do Not Over Use Keywords

Yes make sure that you use keywords 1-2 times in every paragraph but do not use old techniques like keyword spamming trying to fool the robots that scan sites to help determine rankings for the search engines.
